Tex-American recycling has been in business since 1997 and is one of the fastest growing recycling companies. Although we were originally founded as a scrap metal recycling center, we soon discovered a critical need to branch off into the tire disposal and other recycling markets as well. Our founder is a 4th generation recycling specialist.

Saving Tomorrows Environmental Resources
Every year a large portion of the 273 million discarded tires are illegally dumped and damage the environment. Considering the fact that over 55,000 tires are thrown out each day in the state of Texas alone, we saw a critical need to do our part to ensure that these tires end up being recycled or disposed of properly. Tomorrow's environment is far too important to ignore and we owe the next generation the benefit of keeping it clean today.

Giving Back to the Community
Outside of the realm of environmental responsibilities, we also recognize the need to assist public servants. We have donated our time and resources to both local police and sheriff departments in destroying firearms that have been confiscated from criminals. On top of this, we have also donated our facilities and scrap vehicles to help with the training of local fire departments in vehicle rescues. Giving back to the community in any way that we can is one of our primary goals at Tex-American Recycling.

Moving Towards the Future
Although we have expanded from servicing national accounts in the US and in multiple countries, we are now implementing plans to offer local rates and a local class of service to all customers. There are too many areas that lack the necessary resources to afford to properly recycle and dispose of their scrap tires and other recyclable materials, and we intend on being the company that steps up and fills that void. Wherever there is a need for recycling, Tex-American Recycling has been there in the past, the present, and will be there well into the future.
